Dr. Adel is the co-founder and managing partner of Pinnacle Capital. Dr. Adel holds a BSc. in Civil Engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum & Minerals, a MSc. in Engineering Management from Milwaukee School of Engineering, and a Ph.D. in finance from George Washington University. He has more than 27 years of experience in financial advisory, asset management and private equity investments. His latest position at Kingdom Holding involved managing a private equity portfolio of over $9b that included investments in the banking, technology, and entertainment sectors. Prior to that he was the CEO of a Bahrain-listed industrial investment company operating in Saudi Arabia; investments included sectors such as steel, paints, and downstream petrochemicals. Over the course of his career, Dr. Adel held senior positions in several leading financial institutions including Samba Financial Group, Bahrain International Bank, Gulf Investment Corporation and the World Bank. His experience also includes establishing and managing private equity funds targeting the US and Africa, as well as M&A advisory projects in the Kingdom.
