Pinnacle’s Participation in Gathern’s Series B Round
Pinnacle Capital participated in Gathern’s Series B funding round, supporting the leading Saudi alternative hospitality platform in a move that reflects Pinnacle’s focus on high-potential Saudi companies and innovative business models contributing to the growth of the Kingdom’s tourism and hospitality sectors.
Gathern closed its Series B funding round with SAR 270 million, led by Sanabil Investments and joined by several strategic investors. The round valued the company at more than SAR 1 billion, as Gathern moves forward with plans to prepare for a future listing on the Saudi Stock Exchange.
Gathern is redefining alternative hospitality in Saudi Arabia by enabling travelers to explore destinations across the Kingdom through private hospitality units operated by local hosts. Its model also enables property owners to monetize underutilized properties and generate sustainable additional income.
Throughout its journey, Gathern has contributed more than SAR 2 billion to the local economy, benefiting more than 33,000 Saudi hosts. The platform has also built an ecosystem of more than 72,000 private hospitality units across Saudi Arabia and holds a 44% market share in the Kingdom’s alternative hospitality sector.
The new funding will support Gathern’s local and regional expansion, with a particular focus on attracting inbound travelers and meeting the growing demand for long-term stays. The company also plans to further invest in its technology infrastructure, enhance the user experience through artificial intelligence solutions, and expand its host network and range of listings.
Pinnacle’s participation in the round reflects its continued interest in investing in high-growth technology companies and supporting innovative business models aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly across tourism, hospitality, and the digital economy.
